This tool is used to install the seal to correct depth and position. The crankshaft rear seal will fit perfectly to the engine block and crankshaft. It is of vital importance to keep both the inner and outer seal bodies fit well and in good alignment, otherwise it may cause leakage.
-Easy Installation
Make sure the crankshaft is free of oil and dirt, and then clean the seal bore in the flywheel housing. Put the seal onto the end of the crankshaft and also screw the J-44642 installer into the crankshaft. Turn the forcing screw so the body of the tool can push on seal until it bottoms in the block.
-Direct Replacement:
This tool is alternative to J-44642 rear crankshaft oil seal and wear sleeve installer.

-How to Use?
1. Ensure that the crankshaft is free of oil and dirt.
2. Clean the seal bore in the flywheel housing.
3. Position the crankshaft rear oil seal onto the crankshaft.
4. Install J 44642 to the crankshaft .
5. Press the crankshaft rear oil seal into position using J 44642, the tool will bottom out when the seal reaches the proper depth.
6. Remove J 44642 .
7. Install the flywheel.
Fitment：
This tool is specifically designed for Isuzu 6.6L Duramax 2001-Later GMT800, 2500HD, 3500 with 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engines.
